The Sample Select was born in Nairobi in 2023—not in a bedroom studio chasing trends, but from years of production work that's touched gold records, charted songs, and sessions across three continents.

Then Afrohouse exploded.

The sound from underground clubs in Nairobi and Johannesburg started commanding mainstages at Coachella and Tomorrowland. Producers everywhere wanted in—but most were working with samples filtered through someone else's interpretation.

We had what they couldn't find: The Source.

In 2025, we joined forces with Nzau—the strategist behind Sofiya Nzau's rise. When "Mwaki" crossed 300 million streams, Nzau was the architect.

He saw what we saw: African sounds were ready for global stages, but the infrastructure connecting them to producers didn't exist.

That gap became our mission.

Now every pack, loop, and tool comes from African studios and African talent—producers who live this sound, not study it from afar. We're not just selling samples.
